Rooted, Ready, and Rising

This 2026 reimagining of Kwanza Edwards’ 2015 artwork, From My Roots, created exclusively to reflect the theme of “Rooted, Ready, and Raising.”

The original artwork celebrates the power of heritage, identity, growth, and connection. In this reimagined version, those themes take on new meaning through the imagery of roots, branches, leaves, and growth, symbolizing the strength we draw from where we come from and the possibilities that emerge when we are grounded in purpose.
